Cavs have a big game tonight.

Against Detroit. Some say there's some significance as well.

Not sure why you guys left based on this outstanding reporting....

And you're still checking this out? I guess we must not have been that bad!

You guys were good. I keep coming back expecting more of the same from a "home" perspective (I grew up in Canton), but guess I should stop.

The sarcasm must be tough to pick up through a computer screen....

no no...I understand sarcasm completely (see sarcastic articles such as... "A sarcastic look at the Browns' 2006 season," and "Sarcasm and Malta, how Reagan and sarcasm ended the cold war," two of our funniest, most wonderfully sarcastic posts on this blog.

So help clue me in on all this sarcasm I allegedly overlooked. Let's see, you wrote anonymously "Not sure why you guys left based on this outstanding reporting."

I, detecting the obvious sarcasm, crafted a response that astutely pointed out the irony wrapped in your response to my post. We've gone more than two months w/o posting anything substantive, yet you (Mr. Anonymous) immediately responded to my last piece (Which in all reality was a trap to root out people like you - disguised as a legitimate post about the Cavaliers' pivotal game 6 in the Eastern Conference Finals).

Thanks again for your continued readership. And I'll reinforce the point I was originally making: We must not have been that bad if you're one of our critics and you're still checking out every single one of our posts.

Okay - I may have been a late comer to this comer of blogworld (my apologies), but you guys had critics? I was pointed to a brilliant post by Deadspin that I read, read all of your past posts, and immediately bookmarked you to check regularly along with Deadspin, KSK, Yaysports, FreeDarko, Fanhouse, etc.

Fuck anonymous - he/she is obviously just trying to piss you off. I think those of us who did read, but didn't comment like we should have (a problem on all startup blogs) are partially to blame. I accept that part. But you surely have a site meter to count hits? You know we were stopping by, so why no explanation of where you went?

If it's another site - tell us where - we want to read! If it's a "real world" job, fine - just say so & we'll forget (and I may be missing something obvious here if you're now on the radio in Cleveland since I don't live there anymore). Check out Matt Ufford's last post on his well-known "personal" blog Karmic Payback - it's a perfect example of how to shut down a site.

Anyway, sorry for the long comment. I hope you guys come back, but I understand if you don't. Thank you for what you've done already.

I've obviously been misunderstood and I can see that now. You guys should not have left. The blog should make a return!
