CLEVELAND, OHIO - According to our friends at ESPN's NFL Live, Brady Quinn would be the draft pick that makes the most sense for the Browns this offseason, especially because he's someone the fans can get excited about (Personally, I get more excited about Laura Quinn, and apparently so does A.J. Hawk). These football gurus also provided some insanely useful information about the Browns that we didn't already know like: We can't run the ball or stop the run, Romeo Crennel is on the hot seat, and we might not be set on Qb Charlie Frye (They really did their research to compile these facts). The most interesting thing about the segment on the Brownies was that Mark Schlereth mentioned that Scott Peoli, the GM for New England, could end up in Cleveland if the Browns underachieve because of his Cleveland roots (They also said this would be the only team that Peoli would leave New England for). I guess this means that Phil Savage better go out and make some changes this offseason, including making the right decisions in the draft. ESPN also reported that the Browns are high on JaMarcus Russell because he has worked Savage's QB camps over the last couple of years, clearly a big deciding factor in drafting a franchise quarterback.

If the Browns draft Quinn I will not watch them anymore
The only way to justify drafting B. Quinn is that for some reason the NFL grants the Browns the first 5 picks of the 2007 draft.
I have a stronger arm and would make a better NFL quarterback
Picking a qb early is never a bad decision.
actually, Michael Smith said that about Pioli. As of 2/14/07 here is the order in which the browns draft board should look like.
1. Joe Thomas
2. Alan Branch
3. Adrian Peterson
4a. Calvin Johnoson
4b. Jamarcus Russell
5. Brady Quinn
If Thomas is off the board, I would not be dissapointed if the Browns trade down. Some experts are saying that some teams like the Texans and Broncos are enamored enough with Peterson that this is a possibility.
Anyways, if Thomas is on the board and the Browns pass, I am going to burn down my house with me in it, like David Koresh.
I'm sure Romeo will be pulling for them to take a rookie QB....
If the Browns take alan branch they might as well cancel the franchise, we don't need to waste the 3rd pick in the draft on a defensive tackle, you get the best player available at that pick and clearly he isn't it
It doesn't matter which QB we end up with, they're all going to play the whole season on their back if we don't get a solid O-line. We NEED Thomas
